About me

Will James (Courtwood) is a Sydney-based music producer, audio engineer, artist, and performer.

With over a decade of experience in songwriting, producing, and performing, Will works from a private recording studio located in Glebe, collaborating with a range of artists and clients.
He is able to guide projects from early demos through recording, production, mixing, mastering, and final release.

As a performer, Will fronts an alternative rock project under the name Will James, performing across Sydney’s CBD and Inner West. Will has released multiple bodies of original music work and since 2025 has independently produced, mixed, and mastered all of his original material.

Will studied at SAE Creative Institute from 2022 to 2026, earning a Diploma of Music and a Bachelor of Audio. Will is also a qualified Trainer/Assessor and currently works at Oxford Creative Academy in Sydney, delivering course material and supporting students through their studies.
